Cracking candid capture that works well in mono, like the reflection of the driver in the cab window.

Morning Gavin,

Good capture and pose, I have to admit that for me it does suit the B&W look, well done.

Gavin you can just take the edge of the shiny forehead and side window if you want to by going into "Enhance" > "Adjust Lighting" > "Shadow/Highlights" move any of the adjustment sliders or enter values in the text boxes, then click OK, make sure you have your "Prview" box ticked and you can keep comparing your adjustments.

When you convert an image to B&W (I think you will find an option somewhere under "Enhance") see if you have a "Channel Mixer" option this will have sliders for Red, Green & Blue. If they have a value on show the total will add up to 100, move these slider's to create more mood in your image but make sure when you've finished the values still add up to 100, this helps to eliminate clipping.

Posted a mod using just the Shadow/hightlight tool, if you compare the two it as subtley reduce the glare.

Take care
