Homecoming

To take this I perched my camera precariously atop a crumbling stone wall in fading light well after sunset and hoped for the best. I was very keen to capture the image as the conjunction of encroaching fog and dusk with the lighted windows in the old stone cottages was so suggestive of peace, security and the cosiness of home.
