Homesick Reds (Nottingham Naked 6)

By redstag
A slightly fuller view of Trent Bridge. Taken at the same time as the last view I posted.
This time, it is a ploy on my behalf to make Vintage Red even more homesick, with a glimpse of his beloved City Ground through the end arch.
This photograph has potentially been ruined (or enhanced depending on your view) by the rows of pigeons lined up on the arch, soaking up the early morning sun.
Hope you like this view of the old hometown.

The first one was the stronger shot I think but this definitely benefits from the 'Field of Dreams'!

Great shot of this bridge, like the light, colours and detail, the pigeons don't have much of an impact really and certainly don't detract from the scene.

Nicely done. I like the pull of the eye on the bridge and how the scene goes from dark to bright. Cool.

Great composition and a great reminder for me of the days when Psycho played for Forest and I would be cheering him on!And to answer your question...pigeons are part of Notmm's make-up and there every does not detract.
