Honister Pass and Buttermere

By Acancarter
Taken on a walk up to Dale Head and Hindscarf last week. The light on the scree slopes of Fleetwith Pike was quite dramatic with the sun angle; I liked the winding stream and road in the lower part of the pass, leading down to Buttermere. Everything was very dry and brown, so a mono conversion seemed appropriate.

Thanks for all the comments and votes on the lambs and their mum yesterday!

Fantastic almost IR image because of the ground colours and light as you have said. I think it is a tremendously detailed image Andrew and from an angle we don't often see. Very well taken.
