Hooded Merganser

Thanks for your clicks, comments & votes to my previous image for which I'm most appreciative.

I hope you may like my offering today of this sleepy, male Hooded Merganser which was taken two weeks ago at the WWT reserve in London. I liked the reflection of its plumage & the way it had its eye on me.Smile
Their yellow eyes are adapted to see under water so they can hunt for their food which includes frogs, fish & invertebrates. I added some vignetting and needed to crop the image a little.
