Brilliant Trevor - always good to bag a new one!
Looks like those wings would be beautiful in flight - your next assignment?
Good to see you're out and about again!

Brilliant!, so pleased you got some Jay shots Trev Smile

Just watching these beautiful birds just 10 feet in front of you is an experience and to get some photos too is a real bonus.

wonderful detail at 250mm...I presume you use a tripod? or do you just rest on a beanbag or similar? SmileSmile

Thanks everyone, Have a medical condition so unable to hand hold any lens without shaking, but before this as a Pro always used a tripod.

Well done Trev... very difficult to get a half decent shot of these wonderful birds, however you have surpassed half decent and bagged a cracker.

He is posing beautifully TrevGrinGrin..... great image!
We get them occasionally in our garden, and I have got a half... ok , maybe a quarterTongue of a decent shot of one to say it was about 30 ft away and I was indoors and behind the glass, he was there so long I got bored of taking shots, but I wouldnt go out as I just knew he would fly off as soon as I opened the doorSadWink
