Hope

By aeras
There was some heavy clouds that day and I used my 10 stop ND to create a dreamy and flowing background knowing what the final result would be.
the raw file was imported into camera raw , clarity was added only to the sky to make the clouds more prominent , a dodge-burn layer was used to burn the rocks in order to de emphasize them , a vignete was manually added so as to draw attention to the lighthouse. There was just a faint light on the light house that I had to enhance a bit.
Even if everything looks dark and cold there is always a light to lift our souls and give hope.
Nikon D800 , Nikon 70.0-200.0 mm f/2.8 @70mm , exposure 120,0 sec; f/5,6; ISO 100 , 10 stop ND filter plus 3 stop grad soft filter.

Thank you for commenting Mike ! , I will try a b&w version although I feel that the picture "works" in color with the " heavy" red lighthouse balancing the "lighter" rest of the frame.
