Stopped by the track for a few races the other day, did not make any big winnings (of course I didn't place any bets either...)

Cut off the tail a bit...and there is probably a bit too much room in front of the horse, although he is in mid-air in his stride.

-always thing to improve on the second time around, thanks for looking and for any of your comments

Hey Ben very nice first time especially when it comes to horse racing as they can be quick and bunch up with the others not allowing seperation on one subject! Is this Saratoga?

Pretty cool image Ben--- the air-bourne horse-- colorful and as you say-- gold mine for images at a race track--

Sharp-- has to be a trick in that that you already know-- I would have gotten motion or total blur-- lol!

top shot...just enough blurring of the background to give it a sense of movement. horse is pinsharp. very well done.

Good capture. I found when at the races - bikes, dogs, horses everything happens so quickly. But as you say you have chopped his tail but getting the feet, the head and everything else spot on is an achivement in itself.
