Hospital with a view

By TheURL
Probably not a vote or competition winner but hopefully a photo of interest. The patients at this hospital have the best view in town, and one that is constantly changing as the ice drifts slowly by. Perfectly quiet except for the occasional rumble as an iceberg collapses or rolls over. And the odd seal or whale making a guest appearance. You can see the icebergs going way off into the distance. This is mid-summer. The sea will be frozen solid in winter. We had a little house up the hill from here and every morning we would awake to a different view - they tend to drift from left to right, roughly south to north.

Thanks - by the way, its not a very comprehensive hospital - for more major operations patients are flown to Nuuk or to Copenhagen.

An impressive scene.

Thanks Willie - that's an improvement. The remote settlements being inaccessible, and having only a few small hospitals, you can see why they went into total lock-down the minute the balloon went up!

Yes, a sensible thing to do.

So far they've had 31 cases and zero deaths. Against that they're not a global player in the world's markets, and have a low throughput of travellers.

Well I'm going to defy you and give it a UA. Again the clarity of the air and for showing us something different.
