Hot Car

By Stevetheroofer
I dropped my little runner round my mates this afternoon for him to have a look at the heating system, it seems to work very well as I was cooked when I got to his place. Cannot turn off the heat.

Thanks for popping in to have a look, many thanks for your user awards and comments for my recents uploads

Maybe having the heater full on is the only way to keep the engine from overheating...

Classic cars are beautiful, and great fun, but the engineering can be - erm - interesting.

The insignia says it all.
MG stands for Money Grater.
Use the spare change for petrol.
I had a work colleague who sold his classic Jaguar after the mechanics told him the price to repair the heating system. He got a Vauxhall with that money. Used the change for petrol.

Excellent shot. I like how you have positioned the car so that the front is on the "spotlight" while the rear part stays in the shadow. The blue paint is brilliant and it suits your car well. E

In 1985, I bought an MG Maestro - the second version with a two-litre fuel-injected engine and a Honda gearbox (vastly slicker than the PSA 'box fitted to other Maestros). My son declared that it stood for 'More Go' - and practical experiments showed it to be a more capacious equal to the Golf GTi of that time.

At one time, I'd planned to buy a B when I left university, but the idea was derailed by the Triumph Dolomite Sprint, which offered 2/3 extra seats, two more doors, greater comfort, and an awful lot more performance. And there is a unique loveliness to the B, as an unassuming and competent flag-flyer: maybe the Hurricane to the TR6's Spitfire?
