Hot Stuff

By FoolsAndKings
This is a British Steel train pulling the flasks of molten steel around the works at Scunthorpe.

If you look carefully you can see the heat coming off the top of the flasks.

When it passed us it was incredible how much heat it gave off.

This is a powerful image with a good lead-in. Well seen and captured. The only thing that bothers me is the post in the middle which takes the eye I would be inclined to clone it out. I think this would also look good in black and white.

Cheers Albert, I did think about taking out the post, but only after putting it online.

Great composition and wonderful colours; this should have received many more votes!

Nice shot, - quite dramatic. Agree re the post, - and perhaps darkening much of the background to emphasize the strong train image would work well?

Super colour and shape to this. I think the post could go too but its still good.
Definitely deserves more attention than its had.
I see you have your messages off. Thanks for looking into my PF and your complement on my macro work.
