"House for an Art Lover" - Vol. 3

By RonnieAG
The above decoration on the south wall of the House for an Art lover appeared in a previous set ( House for an Art Lover - Vol. 1 ) and some members felt it deserved an airing on it's own: this is a closer view showing up the detail of the yellow sandstone Art Nouveau panel.
V 2 shows a model of the House viewed from the south and where the panel in V 1 is placed can be clearly seen.
Any who admire the work of Charles Rennie Macintosh would be bowled over by a visit to this well frequented House, situated in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow.

My thanks to all who commented on SS or SS.

I love to see models of the properties I visit and V2 shows so much detail.
However, it is V1 which goes to the top of the class today - the detail, contrast and crop are excellent.

V1: Super form and texture. Great art. V2 is a finely worked model and it tells me how great were those architects who used to design every single detail of a building from banisters to doorbells.

When you look at Mackintoshs work it is on one hand very stylish and sometimes on the other hand quite austere. Two cracking images.
