I love these old half timbered buildings, Jasmine: fine capture of all the detail.
The wee elderly lady passing by seems totally oblivious of the beauty on her immediate right.

The old lady probably lives there and takes these wonderful buildings and all the tourists "in her stride".

Thank you Lynne. No, I didn't. I don't replace sky any more...too much trouble. It's difficult to get the light right, and too much work to add them together. It's easier to adjust on RAW file, as this one. If the contrast is too strong, I take 3 different exposures at one go... Smile
Thank you all.

I just thought.. is there any easy way to replace sky? I actually have very little experience of doing so.. I noticed the 'flaw' from the beginning, it was the light gave the game away. Let me know if you have better methods.Smile
Thanks again and thank you all.

Full of old world charm. It's in the not too perfect verticals on pastel shades, in the roof and especially that heavy tree / vine that comes right up out of brick and is tastefully sparse. And the owner adjusted the Hovis sign for better images.... Pure magic. TG
what a beautiful photo, great colours and detail. superb photography excellent SmileSmileSmileSmile
