How low can one get + B&W

By Drummerdelight
I guess I try to compensate the fact that the cows are not standing in a fantastic scenery of hills or mountains ...
I also think that going low pov is my way of showing respect to the subjects. Perhaps it does give them more authority and strength too...
I have also learned (the hard way? not yet!) that this makes animals curious about what's going onTongue This normally means they come towards me to a distance they feel comfortable with, instead of me risking my life and testing how far or close I can get.

As usual I experimented with a B&W conversion.
Thank you for looking
Guy

I like them both ! Bright summery shot , just what doctor ordered on a cold Canadian Boxing Day . Hope you enjoyed your Boxing Day !

Monochrome works well, but on this occasion it is the colour for me. Great shot.

These both work well, but differently. But I would love to see their picture of you at work here... Wink

Definitely prefer the colour version - though ( for me ) adding some contrast and vignette to the b&w to make it more moody would make much more interesting,
Love your low level moo pics Smile

I like the coloured version, Guy. The pale red and faun colours of the animals sit well between the soft blues in the sky and the green in the pasture. They do indeed seem curious about this strange creature that lies down on the (cold? wet?) ground and holds a box-shaped contraption to his face. Bob

I like your perspective Guy, you've got it just right, and the cows think so too by the looks of them Grin Pam

Colour for me, it's more alive. I found your narrative about the low pov interesting, makes sense.
