HRH Princess Anne

By Andysnapper
Morning,

On Wednesday HRH Princess Anne opened our new factory and I was asked by our Communications Manager if I wanted to join the press and follow her around during her tour of the facility. I thought it would be rude not to and who knows, Lord Andysnapper sounds ok.
She is a really nice person, she asks informed and sensible questions and actually listens to the answers and she has a really good sense of humour.
I looked like a real paparazzi, my D7100 over 1 shoulder the lads D50 over the other and a yellow hi-viz with media all over the back.
Cheers

Andy

gosh ... she HAS aged badly
I remember her visiting Aus in the 60's... a state visit
And she got up the press's nose
the publicity really was bad... I felt sorry for her cos her brother managed the press well whilst he was at school in Aus.
Have you a more flattering photo of her?

Great image & a good photo for the local paper Andy
A superb image Andy, and what a thrill for you!

Princess Anne has always been on my favourite Royals list, when she was here in Australia in 1970, she was interviewed by one of our popular media men.. She had the best sense of humour.. she came across as very likeable, and a bit cheeky.

I'm not sure its fair to say that. She is 63 and she doesn't plaster herself with makeup, she is a very natural person. She has got a very good sense of humour, one of the former employees who is 87 called her "your majesty" and she found it very funny.

A wonderful portrait Andy. Super detail in her face. What a privilege for you to be asked to take photos.
She's natural, people don't need to be plastered in make up GrinGrin
