Thanks guys for taking the time to view and comment on my previous upload 'Death Valley' and thank you so much for your concern about my injuries Grin, which are still tender, but mending.

If I may indulge, I would like to dedicate this image to a friend of more than 30 years, who sadly died yesterday; he loved life, gave my son a job when he left school. He left school at 13 to support his Mother and brother after his Father died, and built up a fantastic business and property portfolio from nothing, only to have some greedy nobody steal the proceeds when he became ill, leaving him with nothing, but good friends. Keith, give St Peter something to write home about.

I decided to got to the Humber last night to have another go at that fantastic bridge; I was hoping to catch the sun setting behind it............ lets just say that geography was never my strong point, I ended up on the wrong side Blush ooops! but all was not lost.

I have included some variations of this image, please enjoy

The original, or V1 work for me. Youve got the long exposure working well, and the starlight effects on the bridge lights work great with small aperture.

Ive noticed just now the comments above, and V1 does have the edge.

Keith ended up with good friends, - what else could matter.

A low lighting set of images to be proud of Tish...
Each variant a winner in my eye... Bravo!
Sorry to hear you have lost a friend... Keep the memories, they are precious...
Glad you are on the mend excellent captures of the bridge. I make mistakes too. I went to Lundy Island to take pictures of Puffins and all the birds had gone too late in the season Ooops. Like you still managed to get some good captures.
