Not sure which species, could be a black-chinned but might be a rufous. It was in deep shade and I was lucky to get any usable shot at all. Thanks for the recent votes and coments - always appreciated. Looking forward to the Farnes next week and a break from the heat of Las Vegas.

I think you may be right that it's an Anna's but it was so dark in the tree that the iridescence on the throat is not coming through.
