Beautiful sunset Leslie - Hunstanton is a bit of a nightmare place for a decent image and this is amazing.

Well, what for what it's worth, I think you have a good image here Lesley. It's a stong lead in with the cliff, and reminiscent (although differeent geology) of shots I have seen from the coast in South Wales.
There are no halos that I can see, nor grad lines. It's a beautifully processed image. The area that I would revisit, if it is possible, is the band of very bright sky. It looks very burnt out, and perhaps you could process just this strip in RAW and mask it in later. Other than that, I like everything. The detail in the rocks is great and the sky sets off the mood very nicely indeed. Great image.

thanks for the critique dave, i tried to get back as much as i could from the RAW conversions, i used 2, i do have another one with no
burn out but its extremely dark and i didnt think i could mask out the bit and keep it looking natural, but will take a look and let you know.lesley

Beautiful light Lesley. The burn out on the sky is not too much of an issue to me. The exposure on the forground and cliifs is very well balanced.

I like the shot just as it is, Lesley. The light catching the cliff face is showing up its stratified structure and colours so well, and the band of bright sky above the horizon looks perfectly natural to me.

This is mint, the light on the rocks and the rocks themselves, stunningly sharp, with a nicely lit sky to top it off, very well produced image, nice one.

It was certainly worth getting wet for, Lesley, this is super. Such wonderful tones & textures, and love how the cliff is lit by the sunlight. A real stunner.

sorry to hear about you getting soaked Lesley, but this is a stunning capture. The lighting on the cliff face is amazing and I enjoyed viewing the large version with good detail to see.
