Hurworth garden pond

By oldgreyheron
Yet another from Hurworth-on-Tees, a pond in a resident's garden seen when open through the NGS Gardens Open for Charity scheme. I'm determined to have a pond in our garden one day - when I have one I could ask for nothing more than it might look as good as this!

We've had two ponds and filled both in................a lot of bother, takes years to mature, if you have fish you need to filter and the cost is enormous...........not trying to put you off..............but..........TongueTongueTongue

So much colour in and around the little pond - think ponds need a lot of maintenance - probably best to enjoy
those you find on your travels.
