i like it...the colors are subtle and soothing and to me, and sufficiently nice details.

Were u unsure because not all the stamens are in focus (though I am glad that the centre one seems to have come out rather clear)?

Thanks for the comments Sze, Elizabeth, Samantha, Mavis, Lucy, K, Cornelia, Jim and Claire.

Sze, yes it was the stamens and anthers, I'd have liked them all to be pin sharp on this.

Nice subtle image - it has a watercolour feel to it. Personally I think I would have lost the leaf stem at the bottom of the picture.

John, this is lovely.

I'm wondering whether you could get even more from it if you faded the backgound layer of petals even more? I keep looking at the large background bloom bottom right and can't decide whether it needs to be removed or just faded back a bit?

(Im not too good at the more artistic elements of this game - so ignore me if it doesn't make sense Smile

Thanks Tony, Greg, Brian and Sandy.

Brian, I extracted the main flower and stem from the background so that I could apply some fade to the background or remove it completely. I decided I prefered the composition with the other blooms rather than without but looking at it again think that you are right and that it could perhaps have done with a bit more fade on the bottom right bloom.
