I appreciate where I live

By netta1234
Thank you all verry much for all your lovely comments on Yesterdays image.
Another one today of what I could see when I stood on the top step of the Stile. To cycle back home I had to go down to the road that you can seegoing through the image and then up towards where you can see some houses at the top right of the image.Down hill was great but up was killing me as it was a really hot dayBlush

V2-----that's the way I cycled here.

I have just been reading the comments appended to yesterday's image: and how nice to see more of the countryside from the top of the style.
It is a beautiful expanse and your title is very apt.

I think you're working for the Wales Tourist Board, Netta!
Another fine landscape.
I shall have to get out in the lanes (in a car - not on a bike!).

The world at your feet Netta - We do indeed have some beautiful places to visit
and photograph in the British Isles.Sure it is great to go abroad and get a taste of another culture
and see the wonderful sights, but it is even more wonderful to be content where you are.
That road looks so good to cycle on with all that heather on the side.

Firstly Netta, you must be so fit to tackle the hills around where you live, can see the hill in V2...once again an incredibly beautiful part of the world, great captures

Awesome view, Netta! Super!Smile
I apologize for my curiosity: Why these fields with heather are fenced off ... Is this private property?

Great expanse of your view, well taken, Netta. I do like V2 - makes me think of 'what's up there round the bend'?!

Valery: It may be private property but the fencing would be to control stock - sheep mostly.

I'm so glad you appreciate it, Netta, I have found that I didn't always appreciate my home until I left, then returned with a completely different eye. It's interesting to see your cycle track, and hope you continue to enjoy this beautiful countryside on two wheels.
