A lovely 'tempting you to climb the steps' image, Barbara!
I walked up and down them once - just the once!!SmileSmile
I lost count of how many there were!!
I love the music, too!!Smile

One of the very few delights man has contributed to the countryside. Dry Stane Walls (Dykes) are just wonderful threading their way across hillsides and valleys.

The climb to the top is certainly worth all the hard work. Malham Cove is a beautiful place and one which I have many fond memories of Barbara.

Having spent the morning in an equally rugged and beautiful part of the Borders, have to say one thing we have never thought to do is install a stairway such as this! Amazing.
