I'll show these tits how to split them!

By annettep38
The tits use the Judas tree and drop a lot of seeds.. the nuthatch uses a mossy stone!

Many thanks for your comments and votes for Cape Nelson lighthouse. My special thanks to Kate, Andy and Lilian for the UAs
To avoid confusion, please note that:
- There was hardly any photoshoppping in yesterday's upload. All I did is add the frame and convert it from CMYK to RGB. Also I cropped slightly on the RH side.
- Fuji Velvia is a 50 ASA slide film, not a negative.
- Although only scanned on a flatbed scanner in 1997, the original had 6900x 5200 pixels and came from a high quality original. So I didn't have to do a thing regarding grain or colours

Excellent shot of half a Nuthatch Annette.SadSad I am sure you had reasons for cropping in such a severe fashion but IMO it does not favour the bird. The crop is really a bit too heavy.
Hope you don't mind my observations.

Love this close-up of the nuthatch with the seed in its mouth Smile

I also meant to ask you yesterday which scanner you have. The quality scan was very good, and from what I'm now reading about the pixel count I'm even more impressed.

I think all of us have old prints/slides we would like to preserve digitally.

What a cracker Annette. Yes they ring the birds where we go about once a month, not to happy about it but they must have a reason.
