I Love You Too

By stevemelvin
I saw this slightly unusual white duck standing in almost perfectly calm water earlier today at Lotherton Hall and really like the reflection he was creating. Took a few shots, but liked the body shape he was creating in this one.

Wanted to convert it to B&W to accentuate the textures in his feathers. But it was a little lacking in impact despite my best efforts. Then decided to retain the colour of his red bill and for me this works very well bringing in just enough impact. But I'd be interested in others' views.

Please view LARGE if you've got the time.

Cheers,
Steve

Good definition, and I like the reflection, and the presentation.

The reflections are very good Steve & I like the work you have put into this one with that little bit of selective colour.Nice position in the frame & well exposed.
