I am always pleasantly surprised, even quite amazed how a camera can capture such tender moments like this.

This is Malcolm the Brides Uncle. Vicki is the bride, her father Bill died when she was a teenager. This is Billsí brother Malcolm. everyone was worried how Vicki would manage her special day without her dad, but what this captured was how Malcolm was managing without his brother.

All comments always very welcome

A tender moment. Its interesting that weddings bring out deep emotions, both sad and happy.

A lot goes on at a wedding besides the bride stuff-- makes me think I should post a couple from the wedding I helped out with--- This does say something about this family and grief!

A splendid portrait, Dianna, I detect more than a hint of regret in that face.

Finally have some time to comment properly - I still react to that look, it's so full of feeling, and you've managed to capture it at just the right moment. A shining example of the way to do candid shots.
I feel bad for him Sad

Thank you everyone for your clix and comments on this image of Malcolm, what I did not say was that Bill his brother (Vicki's father) was also a dear friend of mine too. He had a retail unit in the large fashion shop that I had my first Saturday job in when I was 16, His wife is still one my best friends.

Aaah thanks Anne for taking the time, yes I thought it was pretty good timing too.... it is a goosebump image for sure, but I am part of the it is useful to see how others observe it

best wishes to you all

enjoy life Smile
