I need that title - B

By Drummerdelight
It 's not an action photo but gives you an idea of the vibe...

I am rediscovering many hundreds of photo's I was asked to take at a boxing event last year.
This has been a such a exiting experiance. Although this was complete new world for me, I did my best to get the vibe, the pain and the bodylanguage in the right perspective.

I have been asked to make a documentary series again and therefore I 'm studying many of my better (and worse) captures to see how I can improve...

I wil try to rework a new and existing selection as I feel my Lightroom skills have changed or developed. I 'm doiing this for different reasons, mainly striving for perfection, I want the best posible crop, light, dynamics, greyscales and more... but also as I have been asked to create a (first) exposition... I personaly feel, if I find the courage to do this, it needs to be as good as possible.

Thank you for your respect and comments,
Guy

Interesting that he is getting far more attention than the bikini-clad girl.

Very brave man to take on this type of photography, one which I think will bring its own set of challenges, best of luck, and wish you all the success in your venture. Bill.

Normally I would say that the background intrudes on the subject......but not in this case WinkWink

Good luck with the documentary. It looks like you're doing a great job. All have been very interesting and very well captured.

Go for the exhibition, Guy!

You wouldn't have been asked if someone didn't think your work was good enough.

Revisiting and improving (including comparing, and checking that the new version is better) is definitely good.

But don't let the search for perfection stop you doing it, or delay things. There is a point where good enough is, actually, good enough!

Sometimes, images that aren't quite 'perfect' hold the attention far longer than some sugar-coated, technically-throttled images that have lost their 'life' in that process Smile

Fantastic that you've been asked to do this - it's well deserved and I wish you the very best with it. Your boxing shots are wonderful ... full of drama and atmosphere, well photographed and beautifully processed.
