I SAW THE LIGHT

By Tish1
Thank you all for your very kind comments on my previous upload 'Mad Professor' and a special thanks to Patty [Pentaxpatty] for her very generous UA.

Caden likes being famous and has started, attempting, to charge me for the privilege; clearly accountancy is in the genes GrinGrinGrinGrin

I found this lurking the back of the cupboard, so to speak; I've got cupboard on the brain since I have spent the day cleaning all mine in the Kitchen, such an exciting life I lead; well, it was the maids day off [if only].

I still haven't had a chance to get out with my camera, but I have put a battery in it, there's progress.

My seven year old grand-daughter is coming to stay with me tomorrow for half term, so I may just attempt to teach her the finer points of photography, or, alternatively we could go through the list she has given me which includes, but is not exhaustive, teaching her to:

Bake
Knit.
Crochet
Sew

Hmmmm, trying to think of an urgent appointment that I had forgotten about; althouh, I might teach her how to hoover the lounge GrinGrinGrin

Please enjoy my offering today; trying to keep up with you lot is exhausting in itself. However, for those I have been able to view, I have really enjoyed.

Tish

Unmistakable brown water of the Humber. A good angle and lots of depth, Tish.

I remember this.

The brand name Hoover is associated with vacuuming inextricably in Ireland and England. I wonder if there are any others? Im off to Russell Hobbs some bread; I just Samsunged some washing this morning; I will Bosch the washing later... perhaps this could be a task for the precious little one...

Its vacuuming here, - Hoover was never very dominant on this side, and there were many other brands going back a long way.

Electrolux used to be the biggie, now its probably that Dyson fella.

I have to say, Dysoning the lounge sounds more fitting that Electroluxing the Lounge; I am currently Logiteching this so that I can fuji it to you. Actually, I don't have a hoover, I have a mercedes, but I didn't want to show off, besides, how many people would believe that my lounge is large enough to whip a mercedes around it.

Some years ago I might have been bendixing my clothes, but I am actually Servising them, but I don't want to Morphy Richardson them when they are dry. I am now going to Panosonic my favourite programmes while at the same time Zanussing chicken for tomorrow.

A lovely picture of a lovely bridge, I shall be driving over it on Friday but, alas, no time to stop and play with the camera. Sad
