"I see one-third of a nation ill-housed, ill-clad, ill-nourished."

By GwailoAngMo
One cannot help but be struck by the words of FDR at his Second Inaugural Address on 20 January 1937 and the sight of contemporary humans. In the space of a human life we have gone from the horrors of the Depression to inexhaustible greed.

How anybody can remain silent or politically neutral or, even worse, promote the right to greed, obesity, continuing malnourishment that produces such obesity is beyond me.

Trust me, this was not the worst example of excess I saw today.
