I've found NEMO!

By TrevBatWCC
After a bit of Sunday Silliness, it's back to Amsterdam. Getting towards the end of the boat trip, we exited the canal system into Oosterdok and past this large structure. This boat shaped building is the NEMO Science Museum, and its origins date back to 1923. The current building was designed by Renzo Piano in 1997 and contains five floors of hands-on science exhibitions. It's the largest science centre in the Netherlands.
On my first holiday to the Netherlands when I stayed in Amsterdam, though I didn't visit inside the museum, I did go up onto the Rooftop Square of the building, which is accessed by the steep walkway from ground level. This roof terrace is freely accessible for everyone, offering great views all around Oosterdok, and is well worth the climb up there. The version is a crop of the lead image, and shows a closer view of the rooftop area.

Many thanks to Isabel for her User Award on my previous upload Yarn bombed! , most appreciated Smile

What a fascinating building Trev, and two superb captures. Think I would need a lift to get to the top though.

What an original bit of architecture, Trev, and impressive it is: reminds me of the prow of a large ship.
The version does allow a closer look at all the detail.

Super duo , Trev, particularly like the enlarged version, especially when viewed large - incredible detail.
