I've Got A Beef With You

By AnneWorner
We encountered these on one of our forays into the countryside. This young bull was not impressed with me, obviously, if you look at the present he has for me Wink

I started out commenting nicely on uploads this morning, then ran out of steam when a sinus headache struck! Sorry to have been mostly clicking today.

Hope you've all had a good weekend.

Comments and constructive critique appreciated and welcomed!

Enjoy - this one's supposed to be a bit of fun!

Cows are so inquisitive I think they would make good photographers! I really like the composition. The image is strong at the front and fades of nicely at the back. I don't think you could have found a better background for this. Andy

Great shot Anne, lovely detail and I like the wide angle and the expressions; you're a regular pied-piper the way all these animals keep coming up to say hello.

Hi there. Lots of sympathy with your headaches - I also suffer those and had a terrible one a couple of days ago. Just love these, especially the one on the left. Perhaps his present will bring you luck - just like birds are supposed to do when they deposit on you. Wink

The colours are really good here. I like this is portrait with the cows somewhat bunched up, helps create that rather menacing effect that cows have.

The look from that - Bully Beef - on the left reminds me of my old next door neighbour. One evening a passing dog done one of those things on the floor (just like in this photograph) outside his house and he went on - and on - about it for weeks. Was I glad when he moved away. Got some smashing neighbours now that have moved into his house. Good fun shot and again think the tone of sepia works a treat. Made me smile on a cold winters evening here in the UK so must be good.

Hi Anne. Just noticed my comment hasn't registered on your previous upload??? Odd!
Anyway, some great eye contact in this and as you say a great fun image. Like the sepia tones too.
Don't know what breed of cattle this is but alot of American cattle originated from the British Hereford breed. They were chosen by the early settlers as they are a very hardy breed. Useless info over Wink
