I went to Rannoch Moor and took the "same old crap photographs as everyone else"

By AngieLatham
......but I still LOVE it here Wink

for those mystified by the title , its a quote from a recent forum thread Tongue

Rannoch Moor....why bother? Because its dam beautifull and no two images are the same, even if you are standing next to other photographers taking the same scene in the same conditions. Dougstar and BigCol's upload from yesturday proves that point rather well Smile

have a fab weekend folks Smile

Light changes the image and as you say no two shots are exactly the same. I have been known to stand there taking loads of shots of sunrise and sunset and although stood in the same spot they are ALL different. It then comes down to personal preferance as to which one you prefer

Good to see I am not the only one who felt moved to produce a photographic equivalent of the mid digit to that thread.

What a shot to do it with too. One of the finest captures of the scale and tranquility of the place I have seen.

Amazing - I truly love these colours that you bring out!
And although this is the 5th pic of THAT tree today- it is AGAIN a different image - AND a different mood and atmosphere.
Stunning, stunning!!!

Your comment about same place, same light, different photographers made me have a look at BigCol's shot of the same scene.

It has really got me thinking about variations/style on images now.

I have only just seen this photograph, depite the well worn location it has a nice peaceful feel to it and a lovely blue tone. I have stood at this very spot many times myself...Very well caught

P.S I do still feel it's a location for Tourists rather than Photographers but each to their own...Enjoy your photography Smile
