I wish I had a hat like that

By DaveRyder
The third image of groups of three people taken at Beamish.
It was a hot sunny day and almost everyone in the bandstand were wearing hats of one kind or another.
It wasn't too difficult to isolate this group in the frame as numbers entering the museum are still restricted and people were being, shall we say, 'respectfully cautious' of each other.
We'd insisted our Grandson wear his hat while I personally was wishing I'd had one with me.

Colour version in V1.

Has to be the mono all the way Dave. You always manage to capture the perfect expression on faces!

What a great picture Dave with the subject matter and fine detail. The two image is a prefect example of of the drama black and bring to an image. The speed your eye picks up on his face is much quicker than the colour as the eyes are being pulled by the colour.

A well caught expression, Dave. Mono for me, the man's face attracts the eye immediately; in the colour version it's his T-shirt that dominates.
