The master of the event on the 11TH November 2013 reading from his script, and thanks the vets for their service to Canada over the years.

The post processing work was in Camera-in-the-RAW applied auto the two tabs, and then opened in Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 where I resized it to be 600 x 401 pixels, and then applied the UNSHARP MASK till I liked the Fixed using the results.

Same comment as the others, really. You need to separate the speaker from the crowd and he merges in quite badly. Almost has to be a change of shooting position. I would try and not use the camera mode settings. You loose control.

Your maximum available aperture isn't showing up but at 40mm I guess you couldn't have gone lower than F4.5. You've done the best you could under the circumstances.

But as Paul says, bite the bullet and take control! The camera has a good brain but no imagination or intuition, it can't guess what you want to achieve.

I chatted with a friend today, a well paid paparazzi, I had not spoken to him for ages; we chatted in a rush about how we are in life and what we do; he laughed at my studies... We parted, till next time... which may take again too long to happen, although we both want it.

Thinking of our chat now, I imagine him saying to me: 'Study your mistakes'.
