Ice and Stone

By almiles
One from the other week; Lochindorb again. This time the ice was being blown to the south side of the loch. It looks a very pleasant day but this shot was one of only a handful I got between two snowstorms. Shortly after this the weather closed in forcing me to pack up in a hurry!

A beautifully composed shot
Very well framed with the exposer spot on, good control of the light on snow, the line from the edge of the snow/ice, takes the eye right into the shot. good work well captured.

The exposure looks spot on Alan and so is the composition . I like the way the .5 sec exposure has given a lovely bit of movement on the water, love these portrait format shots Smile

Good lead in from the ice, Al, lots of crystaline texture, movement in the water, and the ice echoes the clouds beautifully. The blue hole in the clouds seems to act as a funnel drawing you through the image.
