Ice cave, South Georgia

By RodStrachan
At the snout of a glacier we found this amazing ice cave by chance. Exploring inside we found the the icy roof and sides to be weirdly sculpted into regular rippled patterns, probably by the warm winds of summer. We briefly ate our lunch inside before quickly moving on, chilled to the bone. South Georgia, Sub Antarctic.
