Ice Fountain

By Brilane
I, at last, have made the effort to return and upload some pictures onto the site. When the weather is a bit better I will try to regain the enthusiasm for photography that I had when I used to be accompanied by Tammy.
So in the meantime I hope that you find these pictures of interest.

After a, well below zero night, last week, in Torquay, the fountain on the promenade lawns had frozen. Unusual for the English Riviera.

Regards, Brian

Good series, last time I walked past I nearly put my feet in to cool them off.

Good to see you back, Brian, and what a cold series you have brought us, I wouldn't have imagined Devon being so cold. V.5 gets my vote. Carol

A beautiful set.. wonderful colour, nicely taken. It is wonderful to see you are back and uploading photos, Brian. I came a few times, but I thought that the weather was not good for you to take flowers photos, surprisingly you found some icy ones in Torquay. You are not staying in Fawlty Towers, are you? Keep up your good work and your story telling pictures, Brian. Take care.

What a wonderful fountain Brian, so richly endowed & now icicles to cap it ! Last time I saw Icicles like this was in 1981 in Portsmouth ! I like version 1 the best . Love the colour of it as well as your story.

Glad to see you back. Didn't realise that you had lost your Pal . So sorry xxxxx

Vs 2 and 3 appeal to me for the closeup detail of not only the ice but also the beautiful fountain.
Good to see you back, Brian.

A super set of images taken on the frozen English Riviera, it's good to see you posting again Brian. It's been a bizarre year so far, Easter in Glos was more like midwinter!

22 Apr 2013 11:02AM've caught the ice REALLY well, Brian. Especially in Vs 2 and 3.

Really good to hear you're out taking pictures again.
