Beautiful capture Ronnie.
I think that's the finest specimen of the Fly Agaric I've seen.
Lovely in the setting with the luscious mossy root and trees in the b/g.
I think this shot also works with a crop leaving just the left half.

Whilst I was out shooting in the park on Thursday, I had my eyes peeled looking to photograph some fungi...but didn't find a single one - think they all must have been hiding! Sad
A superb capture, Ronnie, excellent quality stuff here, and like the wide format, works very well indeed Smile Just has to merit my UA... Wink

You've struck gold with this on Ronnie. Nothing as exciting as this in our local woods.
The Fly agaric is such a beautiful specimen(Eggheads question last week) and looks wonderful in your excellent composition.

A fine capture of the mushroom, Ronnie and with the curve of the trunk/root and the background trees it is quite special. Just a slight 'but' with the light through the trees looking a bit blown on my monitor.

So glad that others see this as an absolutely beautiful natural gem, Ronnie. Love that diagonal sweep, and your title brings the little agaric to life, hiding in the corner of the frame, so sharp and so proud, not shy at all.
