Ignorance can cost you.

By Ray12
When you go trekking & you go above a certain height there is one thing you have to take very seriously & that is A.M.S. "Acute Mountain Sickness".
On my last trek the one that I had to cut short due to bad weather, late in the afternoon on that first day.... about half an hour before we reached the bridge that is in this image we were passed by to guys running, never gave them a second thought.
When we reached the bridge I did not know what to do, there lying on the floor was this guy he had died right there. With his friends the ones who ran past us were going to the nearest town, which was at least 5 hours away to inform the police, also his other friend was sat on the rock behind him... he was in shock to say the least. He told us that they had been to Langtang 4000mtrs plus up, when they were on the way down he took ill. He had A.M.S & ignored the symptoms.
If EPZ think that these images need "Adult only" or any of them need deleting, then please do so.

It pays to be careful and pay attention to warnings, very sad.

Very sad indeed Ray, I'm not up to trekking but I can imagine the pitfalls along the way,
