Ilfracombe in North Devon is one of those places you have to visit--- if your in the area.
Built on a slope ,horrible one way system,No parking---fast traffic Wardens.
However a nice stretch of coast and a small harbour.

Wonderful capture of the wave rolling in, good detail in the rocks.
Nice Image well captured - like the foreground detail and movement you have captured.
Superb timing Kim, excellent clarity and fg detail...perfect!
Excellent bit of wave movement Kim.Good one.
Great place, I lived there for three months in 1979. Wonderful stretch of coastline - but unfortunately this was in my snapshot period, before I knew how to take a decent picture. Wouldn't mind going back again. There was a bakery that made the most wonderful (and huge) pasties.
Ahem. Anyway. I really like the rocks and the movement of the waves in this one, Kim. Good shot!
Love the foreground rocks and great timing to catch the wave.
Great capture. Love the movement in the water.
Very well timed for the rolling wave Kim,really nice clarity & some super textures on those rocks.
Oooh, Kim, this is a little bit delicious. The detail you've captured in the rocks is driving me to ecstacy. The suspended wave is a lovely touch although the image stands well on its own even without it. Fantastic stuff.
What a shot Kim, the power it gives out is brilliant, fine detail held and great movement in the waves.10/10
Great capture, well timed.
Really, really like this Kim - lots of drama with wonderful clarity and detail.
Good motion in the wave - well composed!
A belter of a shot Kim, that breaking wave does it for me, superb.
Yes, i think this will go on my list of must visit someday spots-- Fantastic view of this seacoast you have made!
The wave works just right with rocks spot on
Couldn't resist coming back to have another look at this beauty, Kim. I can't get over the quality of detail and texture you've captured in those rocks. Simply out of this world.
The lighting and detail in this are breathtaking. Amazing image
Beautifully timed, Kim lovely natural colour
At least it's hit 30 (although it deserves triple that number).
