One of the trees at Westonbirt Arboretum lit up as part of their Christmas Enchanted Wood. I know that the light is slightly distracting but i dont know how to get rid of it in photoshop elements. I really love this tree though-let me know what you think.

Good shot but I do think that the light on the left hand side of the tree should be edited out. It takes your eye away from the tree which looks great.

Yeah the light is distracting, I'm not quite sure what Elements lacks over CS so don't know if there's a way to do it.
Still a brilliant shot though, really nice effect and composition!

Excellent image. I love shots of lone trees and this one is so different. Great capture. I have Elements. but not sure that I would want to take the spotlight out all together. Perhaps use the clone tool to take out the bottom part of it (in line with the green of the grass) just to make it look like it is shining into the tree. But make a copy of the picture and work on the copy. I found the best way to learn was just to play with it with a copy of a shot.
