In Flight

By Gezina
Have you ever had a day when just everything went right? I had an unexpected day off and keeping a close eye on the weather arranged with a friend to take me to Midhurst with a sighting of the Kingfisher a sure hit, we got there and after yesterday's rain the riverbank was not even visible and neither the Kingfisher - went to Petworth Park and had a wonderful few hours - came back via Arundel and sure thing - bang my first Kingfisher in flight and by no means the quality of some of the other uploads but boy did I feel like the Cheshire cat! Hope you like it and I justmight stop winging about getting shots of Kingfishers. LOL Ina

I think this is fantastic..Having wandered around Richmond park trying to capture the Kingfishers there I can see how hard it is to get a decent shot. This IS a very good shot..in my book. Any info on the settings would be appreciated.

That is a bleedin good shot with the 2x tc on.
I dont like any of the images from my 70-200 + 2x TC, so I don't use it now.
So you have done very well indeed.
