Thank you very much indeed for your V/C on my last upload did not think I pulled it off as well maybe that's just me, anyway cheers, also a big thank you to Lynks(Norman) Rayme330(Ray) and jasonrw(Jason) fpt their much valued UA's .
v2 SAME TIME SAME PLACE B/W
v3 Moira's idea so well spotted ...thank you.
V1 has those greenish tones in the underside again... But V2 is the image for me, all about power and menace. I would try to get rid of the lines in the background though.
Excellent shot, but the b/w V2 is a great one
Two super images.
Superb action shots again, John, the detail captured so good considering the rate of knots they can shift at: I see you have posted V 3, possibly in response to Moira's comment (?) and the removal of the b/g lines does enhance the image.
I am torn between the coloured and B and W shots today, so 1/2 vote to each.
Yes V3 works much better. There's still a light strip along the top on the left, I'm nit-picky... Get rid of that and it's ready for its own upload!
Thanks for the pm.
Excellent set John with versions 1 & 3 being my favourites.
Thank you Moira not nit-picky at all it's good to get feedback. Many thanks....will save it for another time.
v3 is superb again, John. In-flight photography well and truly mastered.
V1 for me as it is my favourite owl PC
V1 is a cracker, for me; V2 does not seem to merge with your BG, sorry. I cannot get V3 to come up.
Three stunning images --fantastic captures V1 for me
V3 for the mono but love the intense eyes in V1. I might have removed the b/w from the eyes in V3 for another version. Owls stunning eyes are so important to me. So my favorite is V1, like the bit of blur in the wings too.......Sandy
Great work John - v3 is the pick IMO
V3 for me too.
Good action John.Well timed.
Fantastic images John. My favourites are V1 and 3
V3 is stnning and scary!
Two cracking images, John, and working well in both colour and mono, with V3 looking better for the distracting background removed
V3 for me, cracking image!
V1 for me, I like the dof brings your eyes onto the main feature the face..........
Blimey John these are some of the best bird photos I have seen. Not choosing between them they are all excellent. Have clicked vote 3 times
V3 for me John, by a mile. Great Work
V3 for me, too, especially after the alteration to the background.
V3 for me.
I go for V3 too. The owl stand out so well against the background and the inclusion of the rock makes it look like a 3D image. Excellent work!
V3 for me too John. The mono works very well.
Awesome three shots great, regards Leon.
