In the Chapel

By keith selmes
A small crop from a photo in the chapel at Stonehouse Barracks, Plymouth. Easier, during a tour with several people, to take a wide snap, and sort out the detail later.

Nice simple composition & well-controlled exposure. Do you have a connection with the Royal Marines?

Rog, you can get guided tours of the barracks, quite an extensive historical area. You have to go as a party, organized well in advance, when its convenient for the MOD, and all positively vetted. There was a lot more to see than I expected, and a lot more walking.
I did have some slight connection at one time, but thats all history now. This visit happened because someone at work wanted to go, and she had to get a party together in order to do it.

Good lighting and colours. Despite the military connection, it conveys a feeling of peace.

Just wondered. Our son's a RM based here.
