A large Herd of camels is seen in the far distance in this photo. I wanted to show the great distances
they travel and the vastness of the desert and the sand dunes scattered everywhere in the emptyness.

Like an ocean of sand. It is beautiful in it's own special way, but harsh I'm sure.

sure ,,, and the important thing about these photos is that tomorow all these dunes will not be there, they are moving with sandstorms from place to place and that makes these photos so unique because they cannot be repeated.

a great set, Savvas, millions of tons of sand as far as one can see..
reminds me of an old Russian joke: if communism were ever built in a desert, in a couple of years the area would be experiencing an acute shortage of sand..
