I apologies, should have provided a bit about the photograph earlier. This photograph is related to the Hinduism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hinduism) in the Indian subcontinent. In Hinduism, fire is considered as one of five sacred elements of which all living creatures are comprised and is considered an eternal witness essential to sacred religious ceremonies. Fire plays an important role in various aspects of the Hindu Tradition. It is believed to be both the creator and destroyed of life, and those that follow the Hindu tradition recognize this fact through several of their rituals and practices. Fire plays a role in cremations, the worship of important deities through sacrifices and offerings and in daily Hindu routines. This photograph was taken at one of those events and witness the belief the importance of Fire in an individual's life. Along with Fire what you can see in the background are flowers and colors, also being offered to deities as you worship. As a photographers I tried to capture the energy, belief and mood of people in India towards religion. Lemme know If I am able to convey the message or you guys need more details.
