Award Shortlist

In the Purple

By Irishkate
My goodness you do love your butteflies - what a wonderful response to
my Tortoiseshell Triptych - thank you all for votes, comments, advice and
special thank you to Ronnie for his User Award.
Today another selection from yesterday's search.
I hope I'm right in thinking that the first one is Green Veined, the second a Heath? - a meadow brown not a Heath
thank you Ed.
and the third one I can't find in my books so help please with an ID.
Please remember to use the slider as I've uploaded these large as members suggested.

I am no use at identifying your subjects, Kate, but I can appreciate your fine shots of them and their presentation in this triptych format again.
And the purple theme in the flowers ties the trio together so nicely.
Very well done.

There are lots of good butterfly D pages on Google if you are able to find them-- sometimes I can't but it is worth a try-- a very fine arrangement of flies tonight!,, The purple helps to hold these images together as a grouping!
Another wonderful and butterflies.

Butterflies do seem to like lilac/mauve so your garden should prove irresistible to them KateSmile and you've certainly made the most of the opportunity with this set.Smile

Wonderful colours Kate.
Good work.
And I only realised we had a slider on here just recently.
I just thought everyone was being ''arty'' with an image
and two halves at each side !!
first class piece of work very impressive .
