Well I think this is soft and beautiful, nice use of natural light and love the colours of the walls. Goes with the picture.

Soft and beautiful is right, and demure. The unusual lighting was inspirational. Lovely Beckas.

The way the light falls on the subject is wonderful and the blind diffuses the light just right. Your pics taken with natural light work really well and it's a shame more people don't use it more in portraiture (me for a start!). The powder blue of the dress works perfectly with the rest of the tones in the image.

Both versions work really well, I'd probably go with V1, lovely soft pastel shades, great natural light too.

Very nice, - the b&w works better in handling the highlights. Frame is a little cramped, - might add a little room to the left?

Love this Bex. Really like the grain and ripple effect on the skin tones. I'd have cropped it a little more loosely on the left, as the blue material disappears from frame and distracts me a little.

Great shot though.

Very happy to make this No 30. I've been looking at this at work today but wanted to wait until I saw it on my calibrated screen.

Very worth the wait... Wink

The natural light works very well here. I also like the pose and the positioning in the frame. And I prefer the colour version...

Hi Ya, I like this its beautifully soft and calm, do like the dress also no doubt you cropped it that way do remove some distraction (on the left). I like the way the light illuminates your face and fades to your feet and the lovely soft tones created on the wall – From the look of these tones it seems this image was shot “as is” with very little contrast or after shooting processing to me. Very beautiful..
Oh v1 for me!

Hi Beckas, not really a portrait fan but just come across your PF and it is excellent. The natural light in this image is superb and very well used, fancy being this talented and also being a beautiful model!!!
