Industrial wasteland

By javam
Took my first ever solo trip up to the peaks today. I normally meet up with at least a couple of the EPZ northern contingent, but short notice, sickness and DIY intervened this time.

Still bumped into one member in the Curbar car park - running_man

Thanks to directions from Mr Wheeler I found my way to Stanage. My first time up there so would have been rude not to look up the millstones. Unfortunately clouds were fairly absent at both ends of the day (despite looking good during the middle), but the light was at least good.

As always, thanks for looking.

Neil

Had you been there first thing my car was parked where those others are, but decided to go back to bed rather than faff with a cloudless sky. I know Trevor too....we go to the same camera club. Wink

Thanks All

Sorry to miss you Martin. I was parked up by 7 I think.

Yes, forgot about that Paul, hope that was successful for Fran. A few more to follow maybe, probably a few days worth anyway.

Don't know a great deal about the stones, a lot of them around the peaks though. Looks like a case of demand not meeting supply.

Using the 10-20 gives it a wonderful perspective, just the right time of day too!
