Inside Outside

Messing around with a couple of wine glasses and daylight....hmm, there may be a short set of these, food colouring played a later part Wink
Playing with light and its effects is one of my most favourite things.

Lit only by daylight camera left and quite high.

Raw file sorted in Lightroom, finished in Photoshop with a light texture and a little he in or out of the glass ?
Is the glass upside down or inside out ?

You decide, but please let me know.

Constructive critique and mods welcome.
Be good but most of all... be creative Smile

A very simple but effective presentation. I think a slightly darker background would have helped. That would have made the wine glasses stand out more. David

I see where you are coming from David but that's not the look I was going for, I wanted the glasses to almost disappear into the bg, just about separated from it.
There will be more Wink

Very cleverly done Janet, so simple yet very effective. I like the light background as I think it keeps everything on the same theme. So looking forward to seeing more of these.

This one is rather Escheresque, Janet; the base of the front glass appears to be resting inside the rim of the rear one! (so the wasp can't escape?) Mind twisting and a challenge for my new specsWink
PS - now I get the title!

A simple arrangement, but something very different, and works well, Janet! 😃👍

That's different and neat Janet - the moth can fly away at leisure. 🦋🦋🦋

How imaginative is that? Who'd have thought the top/bottom would line up so perfectly at the top of the image? You clever sausage GrinGrinGrin

As the moth is in another dimension (or do I mean 'Layer'? Definitely in the realms of Sci-Fi, though) I feel that your question is meaningless...

Such a clever image, and it must have taken a lot of careful adjustment to get this Total Eclipse of the Glass (cue Bonnie Tyler).

Very imaginative, and excellently processed from the set-up to the end product.
