Firstly, many thanks to Pete and Alison for the inspiration to do this:

This went horribly wrong in so many ways......

1. Don't use a straw to control the oil flow. As much as you think you will be able to stop sucking in time, there will be one moment when you don't. I am never going to be able to get rid of the taste of Garlic infused Olive Oil.

2. Don't use a plamp to hold the plastic dish with the oil and water in. It's not strong enough and the result is a mess on the coffee table.

However, this image is a shot of what was left in the dish AFTER the contents spilt everywhere. Mistakes have their benifits...... just trying to figure out the benifit of a mouthful of Garlic Oil now......

yuck - there are only a couple of uses I have for straws - one for abstract pics and the other for tapping the big oil drops to make lots of tiny ones.

Good hint about the plamp - I might still try it but shall make sure I've plenty of kitchen roll handy. I'm just waiting for the sealant to dry before I can try using the smaller container.

Love the image, very nice. Mistakes are always the best. I appreciate the oil and garlic taste but would really love to see some more!
